A friend of mine is selling this telly..

Panasonic Viera (Plasma) TH42PE-30

Now i knows it a superb TV for standard signals (S-Video etc) But does it suuport any Progressive signals?

Looking for 720i or 1080i ideally? (Ive heard it dosnt do 720p) Its mainly for Film watching (DVD) and my gamecube / Xbox

Advice ? (Was looking at £600-800 ish if i can haggle him down.

well just cos it dosnt do 720p, it dosnt mean it dosnt do 720i or 1080i ? Which some people claimed it does do.. but i havnt got any proof.

I cant see anything about that? It just says progressive scan is supported but is not Hi-Def compatible?
