Had a UT50 for a few weeks now and the picture was getting better until 2 days ago when i noticed something very similar to this

How common is this effect? Mine isnt as bad as the effect in the video but it is very similar.
Comments on the video suggest this is common and unavoidable but what do other plasma owners on here think about this?

Plasma is new to me so any info would be appreciated.

That's whats know as line bleed mate all plasmas have it to some extent(some much worse than others LG's use to be quite bad for it) even my pioneer has it but very very faint.

You will get use to it quite quickly

Screen still in the run-in phase at the moment, got my avshd calibration disc ready but wont be raising the brightness and contrast too high in the first 100-150 hours. Had a little go at the disc but just using the presets at the moment.

Just changing the gamma settings increases/ reduces the effect, no doubt adjusting the colour balance will also help but that is a little further down the screen run-in period.

Not looking forward to following the procedure to check the current screen usage timer. Why it cant be just a simple menu option is beyond me :(
