Can someone reccomend me a good 42'' plasma ?

I have seen the following :

Samsung 42" PLASMA PS42E7S
Panasonic 42'' TH42PWD8

Any good? I dont really know much about screens soo... I'm clueless when it comes to knowing whats good and whats not..

I will be using it mainly for gaming.. I.E for the PS3 when it comes out.. So something that will support that.

Also I have seen this screen..

'' SONY KDFE50A12 '' It's a 50'' plasma and I can get it for £860 inc postage.. How does this compare to the above screens?

Any other screens you guys would recomend?

Thanks for reading :)

oh is it? See i am a noob :p

Dell 42" Plasma Flat Pannel TV W4200HD... Better than the 2 42'' currently menshiond? Its also got to be a decent looking screen :) prefebly with HDTV

Well I have been reading up and some things, and I'm not going to get a decent plasma off feebay for around 850 inc..
Been looking at some 37'' screens insted now.. Can get some quite nice ones, reccomendations?

I have seen the ''Mirai T3715C 37" HD Ready Widescreen LCD TV'' at ocuk for about 750 inc postage.. is it any good?
I wont be using my screen on the PC though.. just for console and maybe the odd sky now and again

Also do all lcd/plasmas fit on the wall? as thats the kind of thing I'm looking for

For Plasmas there are only two choices, Pioneer or Panasonic.

Stick with either of those and you can't go wrong. How much are you willing to spend? The 42" Panasonic 42PX60 can be had for around £1350, or up from that the 42PX600 for around £1650.

The 42" Pioneers are closer to £2000, but the best you can get really!

The 37" Panasonic PX60 can be found online for about £1000, including a glass cabinet stand, if thats worth anything.

Also, I would throughly recommend that you go to the high street and have a look at the picture quality with SD TV signals for any models you are considering. Especially if you are undecided between plasma and LCD.

The difference in picture quality with SD TV on a 37" or 42" set can be very noticeable.
