Plastic Colouring

Don't know if this is the correct page for this but here goes.
I noticed quite a few builds where Graphics card are I'd assume painted a colour of there choice, how does one go about painting Graphics cards surrounds, fan surrounds, fan blades etc, what types of paints are used?
is it easier to paint or wrap these items instead?

The case I have is a Core P3 and hopefully this week going to the Powder Coaters, I was more just curious on plastics etc

I have heard that if you want to re-colour plastic bits then vinyl dye paint is the type you want to use. Works differently to normal paint in that it "soaks" in to the surface, rather than just being a layer. So base your subsequent googling on that.
