I think I just snatched a 5600x , we will see if it will happen or fi the stock alert was incorrect
I'll start preparing for the new build and could use some advice
I got a Asus Prime B450-Plus mobo and was thinking to replace it with a B550 for (hopefully) a better chance of a decent OC and that PCEIe4.0
I've been reading and apparently MSI MAG B550M Bazooka is a decent board for the job.
Anyone used it or has better recommendations?
For RAM, I'm on 3200Mhz and I'll be looking for 3600 , maybe 3800Mhz (they start getting expensive)
Would 3600Mhz be ok?
The idea is to get my upgrade , hopefully reach a decent OC on all cores and not be completely skinned.
I want to get a 3070 or Radeon RX 6800 later also - depending on price and stock.
For the OC, I think I'm prepared with the rest of the kit : Noctua NH-D14 cooler, Coolermaster HAF X case, 1000W PSU.
I've started reading on OC again, I don't hope for a 5600x OC tutorial this early..
