Platformers for the GF?

Cant currently afford to get an Xbox, sold mine a few months ago, any decent platformers on the pc that a for a girl? said she use to like spyro that sort of thing, sounds terrible to me but meh.

Neither of them are platformers. O_o

All the Lego games are pretty good. Tons to do in them. There's the Harry Potter one if she's not into Star wars/Indiana Jones so much.

Darksiders maybe? It's crazy at times. It's more of a thinky game than a hack and slash platformer. Sometimes.

There's braid, an indie game on steam

There's also one called "The Maw" but i am not sure how platformy it is as only seen a few minutes of it, but it looks like spyro

Psychonauts is great and so is Toki Toki.

If she's never played it then Psychonauts is the thread winner so far imo. I played it a few years back using a PS2 pad on a USB converter and remember it working fairly well, though iirc you had to remap the buttons to the pad and then remember what you had mapped to what but no biggy.

BGaE is also worth a play as are a couple of the Tomb Raider games.

Either that or look into the MAME / Emulator stuff that's about.
