how long should these bad boys take to charge my pad up.

are they supposed to charge with the xbox turned off ? cos mine doesnt

also doesnt seem to charge very quickly

any answers welcome

thanks

Should charge in 3-4 hours I believe. They also should charge while the 360 is in standby / off, but obviously not switched off at the plug.

should the red light be on when its doing that ?

or does it turn off when its charged ?

i think u can only charge while playin/console-is-on. theres another chargin kit for when the machine is off.

sayin that i think there is a way to charge while the console is off. my mates got one so ill ask him

IF you are playing on the 360 with the Play & Charge kit connected then the battery will charge during use.

IF you plug in the Play & Charge kit BEFORE turning off the 360 via the Ring of Light, the battery WILL continue to charge.

IF you plug in the Play & Charge kit BEFORE turning off the 360 via the mains switch, the battery WILL NOT continue to charge.

IF you plug in the Play & Charge kit AFTER turning off the 360 via either the Ring of Light OR mains switch, the battery WILL NOT charge at all.

I bought that standalone charger for £20 the other week that charges 2 batteries at once (and comes with one battery).
I prefer it to the play and charge.

think its buggered tbh

ive been charging it for 2 days and i dont think its charged

Indeedy - and they look cool :D; though i need to pick up a 2nd battery

Tad disappointed you couldnt pike usb power for it though, having to use another plug to charge the batts up

But oh well :)

TBH, if you've got play and charge kits already, use that old powered usb hub you've got sat in the back room to charge them from the mains. I did that for a while, but then i decided i 'needed' the quickcharge kit :o .
