Play C&C zero hour online, how?!?!

I have just installed zero hour because I want to play online vs some of my friends. Anyway, the stupid program will not let me create an account. If I press the create login button it just says enter username and password, then it goes on to tell me they are not valid! Well of course not, thats why i am trying to create them!!!

I have set up a login via the ea website as well, but this does not seem to be accepted in the game either... So how do i play online?!?

to be honest playing zero hour/generals online is nothign but trouble, constant failed connections, game mis-sychronisations, hordes of cheats etc.
The game has massive bugs etc, its ridiculous. No more patches planned either.

I couldnt get it to work either. It kept saying I had a different version to everyone else, but I was using the latest patch. :S I gave up in the end. Still play against the computer sometimes

Proberly not worth the hassle if it got issues why not wait another 6 weeks time and u will be playing this online:

generals was SOOO poor compared to the rest of the games =/
