hi I have a acer predator 1440 27 inch gaming monitor, am I able to play an xbox one on it and if so what extra's do I need.many thanks

Of course, you just need an HDMI cable, which you should obviously already have.

thanks for your reply I'm getting short of games and theres a few decent ones on the xbox

Yeah you’ll have no issue just the HDMI cable as mentioned above which of course you should have.

I use my Xbox One X on my gaming monitor from time to time and no problem! You may have to mess around with the settings a bit to get it looking right and remember being on a native 1440p won’t look as good as a native 1080p one.
