Play HD video in macbook

I want to output HD video from my macbook to a HDTV I have through HDMI socket. The macbook only has 1GB of RAM. Would this be enough to output 720p HD video clip?

Should be fine just about, decoding is the most difficult part taxing the CPU and Intel graphics chip. You could test it if you have all the gear.

Tested and it works on my macbook. Whats the best way to connect the macbook into a HDMI port on a HDTV? I need to go from DVI-D to HDMI.

You can get a cable that has one end DVI and one end HDMI.

Don't you need a mini-DVI to DVI Adapter first or a Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter if you have the latest MacBook?
