Play in VR, Record in 2d?

Hi,

Going to buy an Oculus Rift today to play X Plane 11 and a few car racing games. I want to record in 2d so can put a video up on YouTube. Currently running a Vega 64 so would prefer to stick with this card and be able to do it using this but am open to getting an Nvidia card if it's easier. How do you do it?

Most games have a 2d screen mirror. You should be able to capture footage from that. I would recommend waiting for the Rift-S if you want to play simulators though - no sensors to setup and a clearer image.

Glad to help. OBS is easy enough to use and the results are good. My editing skills, not so much. :rolleyes:
