Playback on Blue-Ray Films

Hi

I've *acquired* a film on Blue-Ray format, 1080, dts and etc. However playback is jerky and when i skip parts of the movie the sound goes out of sync.

I've got a fairly decent spc of PC, Q6600 @ 3.5, 8800GT and 2GB Ram. Is my PC now becoming obsolete?

I've tired running the movie in several popular video players. MPC. VLC, WMP and others but none work how i want them to be.

Hi,

MPC, VLC and WMP don't officially support Blu-Ray.

Use PowerDVD or WinDVD, they have hardware acceleration.


EDIT: oh, just noticed by the way you wrote "*Acquired*", its been illegally downloaded, i don't think PowerDVD or WinDVD lets you play Blu-Ray files off the hard drive.
