I've downloaded some 1080i High Definition Trailers from the Apple quicktime site but I seem to get some slowdowns during playback which I do not expect. I would say my setup is more than capable of playing this HD resolution video.

I have a P4 3.6ghz with HT running a Radeon X1800XT with 2gb RAM, viewing on a HP 2335 23" flatscreen @ 1920x1200 resolution.

I thought the Radeon card had H.264 hardware accerleration so why do I get slowdowns, and the CPU usage can peak around 85% and averaging around 65%. Why is the CPU doing all the work?
I am running Media Center 2005, clean install with all updates and latest drivers, including Catalyst 6.5.

Any suggestions?
