Maybe we could fit in a FX-60? Looks like a good spec though doesnt it. If I was getting it I'd wait for 7900 in march-april time.

FX60 is clocked 200mhz higher at stock, and has an UNLOCKED multiplier, therefore can be far more flexible when it comes to overclocking as the multiplier can be raised and not just lowered like locked chips. I'd say that you should only really go for the FX60 if you are into some sort of dry ice or have a lot of money to burn.

Answering the question tho, at stock, there's not a lot of difference at all, and the 4800 can be very simply clocked up to the FX60

Hey ya,

Sorry not been on msn Turbanation to chat but building my new rig :D :D.

I like ** spec, I would defiently change ** memory, i have got the Gskills HZ kit. Can't tell u how they preform yet obviously but they have some good reviews. Also don't know if ** going to overclock but if u are get the DFI board. But if you want to do crossfire wait till the R580 boards come out they should be a big improvement. If ** gonna go SLI and not overclock then the board u chose should be fine. Also if u do get that X1900 get the XT version there is very little differeance in clock speed and u can clock the XT to XTX speeds and save urself some money.
