Playing Black Ops 2 around the world

Hello everyone, bit of a random question, but I am currently in New Zealand and I have just picked up a 12gb ps3. I want to buy black ops 2 to play against my mates in the UK, will I be able to do this or is it region locked or anything?

Any help on this would be great

Try a ping test back to the UK, betting it isn't great.

I regularly play with a mate who lives in Melbourne, and it's surprisingly quite playable! The only thing that really shows up the shocking latency is grenades.
