Playing Games again!

Hi Recently started playing pc games again and the xbox is in the cupboard somewhere - Really liking COD 2.

Just a quick Question though, I have my pc as below in signature and playing at resolution 1920 x 1080 and wanted to know if any improvements could be made to my pc to enhance gaming? Oh and everything is running at stock.

Up to you there's always improvements to be made.

With that rig, I'd suggest Overclocking the CPU, RAM and Video Card and see what improvements you get for no money.

For some money you could swap out the video card and go to 460.

For some more money you could get a velociraptor (or two) for more speed on loading etc.

So probably go with aftermarket cooler was thinking of Noctua 14 and maybe sell me video card and get 460? what about 470? will I see improvements in graphics.

Do you have a budget?

Not really worried about money yet just looking for ideas to see what gains then ill decide budget.

Hold off I'd say, there's definite gains to be made but new tech is on the horizon

Those deals Gibbo has up are really good though!

See the thing is I am 80% happy with my machine and what it does as a general PC. Just I get the urge to Tweak and fit new bits.. Also like gaming and love graphics lol. Might hold off if there is something worth waiting for but then hey there is always something worth waiting for..

my q6600 holds back my gtx 275 with certain things, you should oc your cpu and see if your graphics card runs better

Been dying to overclock it for ages seems like this will come first..
