Playing games on Nvidia Graphics card, settings outside of game and in?

Hi all

Been meaning to ask this for a long time now actually



I have Windows 10 home with a nividia GTX 970.

Obviously i have set the in game graphics options to how i want (HIGH detail for example)
Is there any point in then touching the "Nvidia Control Panel" in windows ?

will these work independently to each other?


any tips or links around ?
