Playing .mkv files in media portal

Hi all,

I have ripped one of my blu rays to .mkv using makemkv. What do I need to do to play it in mediaportal? I have pointed mediaportal to the movie folder it is saved in but it doesn't see it!

you might need coreavc codec , but when you go to media portal -> videos
do you see any files listed ?

Mediaportal will see the files, just ensure your mediaportal is up to date (now at v1.2.3) and you have a codec capable of playing it.
