I really want to play some older PC games like the following;
X-Wing
Tie Fighter
Alone in the Dark
Blade Runner
X-wing vs Tie fighter
X-wing: Alliance
Sam and Max
Grim Fandango
Day of the tentacle
The Dig
Is the best way to play these games to get them off ebay and use dosbox? Is the emulator any good and does it have sound etc? How about Grim Fandango, Blade Runner and xwvtf being windows 95(?) games? I also saw a 'lucasarts classic' collection reviewed in either PC zone or gamer about 2 years ago but have never seen it on sale, has anyone heard of it? Cheers!

The Lucas arts games will run under SCUMMVM, just copy the disk contents onto your hard drive, tell scummvm where it is and enjoy the best adventure games known to man.
Add the Monkey Island series to your list as well.

I would do, but I have that (and the sequel) playing fine on my amiga emulator!!
