Playing online

I have a PS2 my son has a PSP and a friend of mine has a PS3

What I would like to know is what games there that are online playable that I can play with my son or my friend.

Me and my son tried Test Drive Unlimited last night and although it looked like we were both connected to the same place as far as numbers of people connected went we could not see each other.

i don't know of any cross platform games that can connect to each other online.

there was a rumor that test drive unlimited was cross platfrom online between the 360 and pc versions, but it never happened :rolleyes:

well in TDU we can add each other to our friends lists but thats seems to be about it

yes thats it

we were online together and he added me to to his friends list, I saw the invite come up on my screen and accepted it but we could not find each other anywhere on the map

For clarification I was on PS2 and he was on PSP

I am sure when i read the TDU review on IGn i said the online part was even worse than the 360's. You struggle to hook up with friends etc.

hmmm sounds like they are playable together

tdu is well know for being a pain to find your mates online.

if your both online, bring up the map then goto the players tab and then filter to friends. this will show him on the map (if he is there)

click on him and it will take you to his location. you will probably need to do this a load of times before you'll see each other on the road (thats if the 2 formats are connectable)
