Hi, First post. I'm 53 yrs old so was into pacman, frogger, defender etc when I was a kid. I want to buy a console and play these games again. What is the easiest way to do it? Atari Flashback 9 looks good but don't know where to start. Any help much appreciated. Thanks Tom

Either would be fatnastic - the arcade versions were brilliant. Anything you can do to help much appreciated. Thank you

Depends really. A raspberry pi3 or 4 could be a good cheap option but involves some knowledge and research. Mister fpga is good if you want accuracy but costs a lot more. Pandora box is pretty much plug and play but somewhat limited. Its a total minefield really. If you have a pc you could just opt for MAME for no real cost.

Super console x from Ali Express. Get the 50,000+ game version.

Check YouTube for reviews. Probably, there's a list of games on it somewhere on the net. Plug and play.

I would recommend a cheap laptop from cex, a fast dual core or quad is more than enough for mame32.

If you want arcade perfect them the mister fpga system is the way to go. I would love one but can't justify the cost.

A left field suggestion if you want portability is the steam deck. Have a look at ETA Prime on YouTube he has some videos on setting it up as the perfect portable emulation system.
