Would be easier, but im sure you can't get hold of a projector that has a 10240x3072 resolution. And anyway, it would be nowhere near as fun.

I imagine playing a 6 year old game at 15fps is great fun

Here's the thing with going to larger screens: after the first five minutes of being awestruck by the sheer size, once you get 'in the game' or 'in the movie', you forget what you're watching it on.

I went from a 28" widescreen TV to a projector that gave me a 150" picture, and recently went from 19" CRT to 24" widescreen TFT. The shock effect wears off soon.

I doubt the guy playing on those 24 monitors notices any difference from a 17" CRT.

The above was tongue-in-cheek but there is a certain truth to it

(DooM 3 is more scary on the 24" TFT)

I certainly wouldn't mind a setup like that, not sure quite where I would put it though.....
Who cares if the novelty wears off, at that point you just pimp it
