Playing steam games over 2 drives?

If I have a small ssd and install a few main multiplayer games on can I install single player games on a slower drive?

I don't think it is but I'm asking anyway

You can install steam games on what ever drive you want. It doesn't have to be the drive steam is installed on.

Yes and no. You can but its not exactly as simple as just putting them on different drives.

You have to do a hook that directs Steam to the other drive and location, don't remember the exact details but i think theres a program somewhere that does everything for you.

You can do that also you can only run the games on that drive through the Steam on that drive which can be a bit tedious.

Frapple's post would be a much better solution than this. Have a look at the mklink command in his post, it really is ideal for what you want to do.

This is a handy looking shell extention that will let you create links between files and folders. You basically move the game folder and create a junction to where you moved the folder in the old location.
