Playing vobs with XP MCE

Thanks i have downloaded it and installed the server version on my desktop and client on my laptop (mce). however i cant get the laptop to connect to the server? i can access the desktop using the normal file and print sharing in windows but cant get my movies to find the server. any tips? the my movies documentation isnt too clear
