After that thread about the 35mm L i thought I'd give my poor mans Sigma EX DC 30mm f/1.4 a whirl as I've hardly used it in anger (apart from down the Blue John Caverns!) so below is a selection of shots taken with it.

So far I'm loving the bokeh and sharpness and on the posing rabbit one I find the colours quite strong (I've hardly done any tweaking in this one)

(see next post for Macro)

A few more pennies and I'll be able to beat Raymond at his own game  :D :p

Also put my Raynox on the end of my 70-200 f/4 L as the the longer the better. Now from these shots I was quite surprised that even thought the Raynox is a 49mm 'lens' it doesn't block any of the pic on a 67mm lens . Looking at it I can see why if you follow the light path but not expected on my part to start with.

The other thing I knew and didn't appreciate was the DoF in macro, especially when fully open at f/4 at 200mm; it was insane maybe only 2-3mm  I really saw this as an issue on the wasp pic but by the time I whirled the aperture down a bit it buggered off so I couldn't try it again :(.

Anyway a bit of C&C welcome on all pics as its still learning on these :)
