Playing wmv files with DRM on a Mac?

WMP OS X might work but I think the support for DRM and Windows Media 10 files is pretty weak.

The best way of playing WMP on Mac is Flip4Mac, but it doesn't support DRM at all.

Your probably going to have to get a PC. No jokes I'm afraid :(

Thanks for the helpful replies. This is a bit difficult for me and I'm a PC user and asking on behalf of a friend. I'll go with the general consensus though... :)

The file is a video (wmv) with DRM. I'll take it my friend's to try but was hoping for some prior info to avoid disappointment. Thanks.

What about a Mac based VM program? 100x cheaper than getting a brand new PC.
Considering VirtualPC with Windows XP Home costs £199, you're a bit off with the 100x figure.

You won't be playing WMV9 DRM protected videos on a Mac any time soon.

£200 wont buy you much of a PC though?
Although he really only needs a basic one for music & video playback, unless its HiDef stuff.
