Playlist by tempo

Is there any way I can create playlists from my music library based on the tempo of the songs?

iTunes can make a Smart Playlist with a BPM range. You'd need to then find something that can work out the BPM of each track and save it in the tag.

Yeah the keyword there is 'tag'. It would be just like playing every song by a certain artist, shouldn't be much of a problem for any playlist maker tbh.

As for going in blind and the system working out the BPM from the audio and batching by that, I'm not aware of anything that does it natively.

you could try running your mp3s through this BPM analyzer which updates the tags of the mp3, then use something like itunes to create playlists by BPM tag but I'm not sure how accurate it'll be for you.

Didn't work I am afraid. No AI from the sounds of it ;-)

Unless the song is dead simple with an easy, constant beat you won't get any result.
