Hi all,

does anyone know of a app that will create playlists based on the file structure/content of directory?

i.e.
C:\Music\Artist1\Song1, Song2, Song3....
C:\Music\Artist2\Song1, Song2, Song3....

Creates:
C:\Music\Artist1\Playlist of Song1, Song2, Song3....
C:\Music\Artist2\Playlist of Song1, Song2, Song3....

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

I use Foobar2000, like this?

I have my album list, viewed as a folder structure from my E drive, also it monitors that drive for any changes in the directory, so if i save some new music into that drive it auto updates it in the album list. I use foobar2000 because of this, and its also a lite app with usage.

Might be Rufio, so if that (and forgive me if I don't type the name ;)) folder of 12 songs does not have a playlist does it have the ability to create one for me?

Itunes could if I drag the album contents to the playlist window but it seems like a lot of effort to get an album playlisted.

Thank you! :)

Just installed it and it's a very nice looking app!
Even if it can't auto playlist on the fly I may be converted already. Thanks!!

haha ok cool, yeah its a cool little app. The auto playlist is awesome for sending music to a big playlist on the fly if you use it like that. Not sure about single album playlist's, If i need to make a playlist for 1 album i just make it manually.
