Playstation 2: Okami

Just did a search for thread titles for Okami in the CG & H section and was amazed not to find anything :eek:

Anyway, I bought this game yesterday and I am very impressed with it so far. It's creative, fun, artisistic and has a certain charm about it that I haven't really experienced since ICO or Shadow of the Collossus. If you like those games then I recomend you get this game. It's recently dropped in price to around £14.99 so it's an absolute bargain for a quality game! Review

I've only got one small gripe with the game and it refers to the sounds that the games uses for text dialogue where it can get relatively irritating after a little while, but the story is excellent though. Anyway, for those that have played it before, what are your experiences wth the game?

Yeah played it a while back its absolutely amazing, some of the later levels are incredibly good looking

i quite liked the voice noise

Been considering purchasing this for some time now as it looks excellent. Where on earth did you obtain it for £15.99? I cant only find it for £25

I'm afraid I can't say as that'd be going against forum rules by stating a competitor. But I also used my student discount to lower the price even further you see...

my only gripe with the game was that on some cutscenes you could skip the slow scrolling txt/voice, say if you just read it quicker than they spoke it. Whereas on others, you cant skip at all.

Did I read somewhere they are re-doing this for the Xbox 360? In a similar way that Ninja Gaiden is being spruced up for the PS3.
