Playstation 3 question

so there has been a lot of updates for it of late
and it is now 3d surported

my question is can you use a 3d monitor to veiw 3d games and blue rays...?

if so would the one listed on OC be useable for the ps3
if not is it a waiting game 3d tv is a non starter
as there not exactly portable are they

Why would you want a portable 3D TV?

As for the question, I have no idea, I expect you need a 3D TV and not a monitor but I don't know for sure.

I don't believe that the current 3D monitors are compatible with the PS3, somthing about HDMI 1.4 I think.
