29 years old and all you do is lie around the house playing games all day? Let me guess, you still live with Mummy and Daddy and it was them who bought you the PS4 and your gaming system?
 
Having read the previous thread and now this one.. one thing springs to mind.

If someone wants to modify something that they have bought with their money and document it.. who are we to criticise?

He tried out something he had a thought about, an idea.

Regardless.. it is up to him or her to make the decision to actually carry it out.

The scathing sarcastic attacks are completely disgusting, we should be supporting people who make these decisions imo.. not criticising for our own entertainment.

The people who have criticised are all that is wrong with the internet these days, the trolls sitting behind a keyboard.

Whilst not exactly airflow.. I believe a man under the name of John Hennessey has already modified a Lotus Elise and ended up improving it dramatically.
 
if someone is doing something stupid they should be told, not simply left to continue. That's the problem nowadays, the pc brigade won't let you say anything negative as it might hurt someone's feelings. :rolleyes:

Not sure anything has gone so far as scathing sarcastic attacks, but the op by his own admission posted it due to boredom, so was clearly expecting some entertaining responses.

The difference is he at least had some scientific and measurable aims for the project, as opposed to the other infamous Lotus Elise by TurboToaster.

To be honest, yours isn't much better as you've completely missed the point of the thread and have taken it way too seriously.

OP knew what responses he was going to get based on previous experience, so if anyone's trolling it's him.
 
Might I ask which model of PS4 this is? I assume it's the older model, the newer CUH-1200 models (which my one is) are a bit cooler and a lot quieter than the earlier models.
 
I think had he properly researched an actual mod or done something which worked he would have had some positive feedback.

It's like posting in motors section your going to drill some holes into the bonnet of your car for better airflow. Everyone tells you its a bad idea and not to do it but you do it anyway and post a follow up thread after its blown over.

He hasn't modded anything. In fact he's made his console considerably worse imo.

Also you are covered by the soga for 6 years he's ruined any chance of a claim also had his console had a genuine cooling issue.

The only mod worth doing to the ps4 is upgrading the hard drive. Other than that leave it alone.

not really bro, just wanted to share what I had done simply because its something different. its not my fault master race fan boys are filled with such hate towards consoles and mods to them or changing them from their stock condition.

this is the console section of the forums it's quite clearly stated. therefore the majority if not all in here own and play consoles.

the hate also isn't directed towards consoles but your lack of knowledge of them and this horrible mod you thereby did.

i also think the vinyl sticker thing looks tacky. i've seen a few good ones but trying to make it look into a ps1 imo just looks horrible with all the gaps and lines everywhere.
