My PS4 packed in yesterday because the disc automatically ejected and the PS4 won't accept any discs. It was a well known fault months ago that Sony assured would be sorted through a software fix but evidently, it hasn't. I've tried holding the power button for 30 seconds then pulling the power out for three minute and rebuilt the database.

Was wondering if anyone else had a fix?

Cheers!

I think Zoomeez had the same problem and had to send it back to Sony to be fixed.

ROFL - errrr yeah :) (nothing to do with a feral child at all honest guv)

Turn around time was quick for the fault I had - I rung them Tuesday, they sent me an RMA label (which covered postage costs) within a couple of minutes. I labelled, packaged and shipped out on Wednesday via Royal Mail.

New console was delivered to my home the following Wednesday - so a week which I thought was pretty darn awesome!

They do say however that it can take 'up to 21 days' - so be warned dude. Best off taking it back to where you got it from if possible (I ordered online so that wasn't a possibility for me).

Going to head to place of purchase on Tuesday and see if they can do anything. A week is pretty good. Thanks!
