Should be joining in the fun within the next couple of hours according to DPD.
Ah the C chassis, thank you, that's very helpfulThe older but newer one. The all Matt black one not slim...
If that makes sense![]()
Anyone has changed ps4 hdd to ssd and thunks it would be worth doing on the pro? Considering you don't want to transfer any files, can you just put the hdd in or do you still have to transfer the OS before doing that?
As it's been asked to enable 4K HDR on a modern 4K HDR TV you should use the 2160p YUV420 setting leaving the other settings at auto.
Older non HDR 4K TV's with hdmi 1.4 ports should use the 2160 RGB setting........
The PS4, PS4 Pro and Xbox one s all use HDR 10...
Thanks for the reply Moogleys, so I have a panasonic 58dx902b so I want to be using the YUV420 setting?
Also will my standard HDMI be ok to use as the one in the box isn't long enough?
I did mine before turning it on. It's the same as normal PS4. Swap drive then download the system software to a USB stick and initialise. You loose all data on the drive.
Can't say I'm seeing much difference in loading speeds so will more than likely just put the 2tb HDD from my PS4 in it...
It's the same software for all PS4 models.
I'm using the 2160P RGB setting as advised by a PS4 Pro review. What is the difference between the two please?
Doesn't matter if its 1.2 hdmi then?
YUV420 is needed to do a 10bit 4K HDR signal. RGB supports Only 8 bit....
That is what I read but TBH there is lots of confusing and contradicting info about it.....
Yeah. I'm just reading more into this now. Lot and lots of confusion.
I will try the YUV setting tonight.
