I've read the HDMI 2.0a is required for 4k HDR playback.
This means I need a new 5 meter cable and 2.0a splitter box, which aint gonna be cheap.

2.0a refers to the actual connection standard. The cables can all carry the required signals. The ones that are "High speed" should have been tested to work.

Definitely YUV420. From what I understand, there is not enough bandwidth available on the current version of HDMI to allow for RGB 4K and HDR.

My mate preordered last week and has received his this morning.

Tbh I'm really not seeing much of an improvement over my PS4 at the moment...

Pretty crappy. You should cancel the order and source one in store somewhere, there seems to be a lot in store at the moment, you shouldn't have a hard time tracking one down.

I've had stuff from Amazon Logistics before and with no tracking, it's always arrived on the day, even on a Sunday. I don't want to get your hopes up only for you to be let down, but personally they've always been good.

No, sadly Fallout 4 didn't make it on the list, and it's one that could really do with it.

I have already set myself in a patient mind set regarding the Pro, need to sit back, watch and wait what developers do next with it. I'm kinda still hoping they open up some of the resources to existing games, even if it's a small boost like the Xbox S has seen.

Ah oh well hopefully they can patch it soon....

I can confirm that anything unpatched that ran crap on PS4 runs just as crap on the Pro...... lol

They've always been relatively good to this point. Had a tracker and allocated times for delivery but this particular delivery isn't great.
