Actually, looks like it is confirmed to be coming.

Bethesda writes that they expect that Fallout 4 will take advantage of the extra horsepower within the PS4 Pro to render in 4K with enhanced lighting and additional graphical features.

If you're planning to roam the irradiated Commonwealth in Fallout 4 with all the benefits PS4 Pro offers, you're going to have to wait a bit. Bethesda teases that 4K rendering along with better lighting and graphics are planned for Fallout 4, but that those won't arrive until work is finished on Skyrim.

Not too worried about patched games tbh, I'm more looking forward to what the Devs can do with it in future games when they really start to get to grips with it.

This has already probably been answered but am i correct in saying unpatched games will still scale up to 4K since i have the pro? So i should see visual improvements if nothing else?

Yes it will scale everything up to 4K. It's just scaling though it may look a bit sharper but nothing is added...
 
You would be mad to buy the pro just for upscaling. However, once patched and using native 4K or checkerboarding, then it should be a different story, although Moogley has me slightly worried about that one.
