Hi,

My Playstation Eye is at the post office waiting to be collected tomorrow.

Can anyone who OWNs or has PLAYED any of these on the ps3 just give a list of what they have, what it cost and what they think of it?
The Exception is Eye of Judgement, I have no interest in this so please don't give me a mini review of this high tech Top Trumps :)

No doubt I will end up buying most of them as most are sub £2 but I just want a quick veto on stuff that is really rubbish.

Picked mine up today, from what I can see so far there are two actual games on the PSN both £3.49. The Trials of Topoq and Operation Creature Feature. Then there are a few other bits at £1.99 each which sound like interactive screensavers.

I've only got Trials of Topoq so far but it seems reasonably fun, you have to guide a ball through through various levels by using your body to lift the titles that the ball is rolling on.

Creature Feature looks good though, from the video I saw you have to guide creatures round different levels by getting them to follow your hands. Will give it a go later on sometime if I get a a chance.

I think there is a lot more stuff on the US PSN store (I should have mentioned in my OP that I get most of my content from there), but I may be wrong.

I am definitely getting that aquarium screensaver thing!!!

Does that then not mean you access the US servers when you try and play online?
No, this is just the local account you have on your PS3 and changes the store you access. Not linked in anyway to online gaming. Download your stuff and then log back into your normal account (each account has different game saves and settings I think).

Hi

How do you access the US PSN store? I hear it has Twisted Metal 2 on it and would love to obtain a copy :(

Oh man another Twisted Metal 2 fan!!!

Create a USA PSN account as a secondary user on your PS3 (loads of guides on how to do this including the sticky in this forum, I think)
Then you sign up to this company http://www.entropay.com
They link your debit/credit card to their site. You topup on their site (free) then you transfer that credit onto a virtual visa card (they take 4% of transaction).
Then you input the virtual card number, cardholder name, and CVV code they give you into US PSN account and you can buy stuff.

Very easy, can be set up instantly (unless Entropay think you are dodgy in which case you will be asked to fax some more details manually). Many on this forum use it.

Thank you very much you're both saints!

Gonna go give it a go now.

Merry Christmas!

Use your divers license number as your form of ID and also make sure you ain't using no proxy server/vpn etc and it may activate automatically. i did it form a proxy server at work and they made me fax stuff in (only took 1 day, but may delay you as its xmas and all..).

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU TOO

Now you've gone and done it! Would have done this sooner had I realised how easy it was to set up the entropay card... though I just put in 1234 for my drivers license number because I was lazy. Hope I've not messed it up now! :o They didn't ask me to fax anything though and I've just made my first purchase so fingers crossed...

Trials of Topoq and Operation Creature Features are pretty good! Trials of Topoq is a little too slow imo but the way its done is really cool! Personally id stay away from the Mesmerize games! They are so utterly pointless and featureless its untrue. The games just consist of munipulating different shapes etc with hand movements and then clapping to freeze the current display! AND THATS IT! Maybe im missing the point but to me it was instant bore! Eye of Judgement is quite cool tho lol ;)
