Hi

I have just got my son a PS Vita, we have no other Playstation devices in the family or ever had:)

I have set up the master account and he is now a sub account of that. He was quite (very!) keen to be on the playstation plus network with it's various benefits but when he tries to subscribe using the sub account it says he must be 18.

If I subscribe on the master account will he have access to the items on the sub account and if so how will he see this? I really don't want him to be specifying a different age on his vita.

Many thanks

It doesn't allow me todo that, basically the vita is linked to my sons account (which is a sub account of my account), so it says it has to be done on the account linked to the device. I can't redeem the ps code on the pc (how crazy is that!!) and I have no other device I can use

That seems to be it's position unless anyone else can advise me differently and how todo it. But yes when we try and log in it says the device must be linked to the account. Seems to be designed that we have another ps device as well

That looks possible but I only have 1 memory card at the moment, i'm going to call Sony tomorrow as this does seem crazy just so I can register the plus account for an under 18

Seems like a crock of **** watching that video. You'd think they'd've learned from the Xbox 360 on how to manage multiple users correctly. :D

It kind of encourages you to set the childs age at 18 which is really not what you want to do. Madness, i'll report back from the discussion with Sony :)
