Hi I am currently on a trip to Dubai and I managed to go to the Dubai mall,
Whilst there they had the Sony PlayStation VR headset there to demo,
Now I only managed to do the deep blue demo,
And whilst the immersion of that was really great I have to say
The quality of the image via the headset was really underwhelming,
I can't see why Sony would invest so heavily on this tech and have such bad resolution for the games?!
Unless the shop had it setup at a lower res??
Not sure if that is possible but it was quite poor,
Has anyone else tried the PlayStation VR?
If so could you give your thoughts as it has actually put me off purchasing it.
And I'm just hoping it might of just been setup incorrectly. :)
 
I have watched a few videos of people testing PSVR in the states and they all seemed really pleased. I will be buying VR as a Christmas present to myself this year and I really can't make my mind between Vive, oculus and PSVR.

The image quality is obviously going to better on PC, but I think the user experience, things working out the box will be better on PS. I think the deciding factor for me will be the Ps neo which is expected to be announced in a few weeks. If that is out this year and improves the image quality, I'll be picking PSVR.
