hey guys,

so i want to upgrade my graphics in my pc from a 6990.

these are the dual card setups ive added to my basket to compare price between them

YOUR BASKET
2 x MSI GeForce GTX 670 OC Twin Frozr Power Edition 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with FREE Assassin's Creed III & FTP Currency £349.99 (£699.98)
2 x Sapphire HD 7970 OC BOOST 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with Crysis 3 & Bioshock PC Games £335.99 (£671.98)
2 x MSI GeForce GTX 660Ti Power Edition 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with FREE Assassin's Creed III & FTP Currency £259.99 (£519.98)

Total : £2,354.52 (includes shipping : £10.50).

£750 is my budget for two GPU's, i did look at GTX 680 SLI, but i feel that the performance is not worth the extra compared to the setups i have posed above.

im looking for quiet, cool and fast cards.

i am also looking to upgrade my platform to 2011 socket soon

heres my system spec as it is atm:

core I5 760 @3.8GHZ
MSI P55 GD80
2X4GB XMS3 1600MHZ
antec true power 750w
seagate barrcuda 250gb & 1tb
antec khuler 620
CM storm trooper

btw im going to get one of these monitors:

cheers guys :)

Price/Performance definitely the 7950's, really good card stock but when overclocked they're absolute monsters.

Louder than the Gigabyte I'd imagine. Not as cool either.

My last 7950 was a Sapphire with the same Dual X cooler.
Not an awesome performer, but not terrible either. On the loud side at over 60%, which goes for most other cards too with a few exceptions.
