Well, i built a new system a few months back and everything has been fine.

Went to boot up this morning and it goes as far as the motherboard screen and no further, and i cant acsess the bios or anything. any ideas?

Is the internal PC speaker connected? You may be getting some error code which may help. Otherwise try reseting the CMOS battery or try booting up the computer with the non essential components taken out to see if that makes any difference.

Maybe the ram is faulty try and put it in a working pc and run memtest ?
