I have just bought a new case for my HTPC and I would appreciate peoples opinions on my selection of air cooling products.
It will be on everyday as a server for our office files and media, it is also going to be connected to a hdtv for Blu-ray and occasional gaming. I might also try some overclocking, depending on heat/noise.
It needs to be as quiet as possible because we have guests staying in the same room as the HTPC and we might need it to be on during the night.
One day I will upgrade the mobo/cpu/mem/gfx, but hopoefully not for a while. I would hope the rest of the components will be compatible.
Case is the new Silverstone LC10B-E
It has a very similar specification & layout to the GD01, LC17 & LC20 with the following:
Front 2 x 92mm or 80mm fan slots
Rear 2 x 80mm exhaust (included: 2x 2050rpm 21dBA)
Side 1 x 80mm fan slot & PSU vents
