Thanks a lot.

Tom.

I'd get a DS3 or an Asus P5B. Instead of the Tagan I'd get a Corsair.

What's your CPU cooling going to be? I'd recommend a Scythe Ninja, Tuniq Tower or Thermalright Ultra 120 with a 120mm fan of your choice.

Yeah the P5B looks good ill prbably get that then.

I was just goint to use the stock cooler as i heard it was very stable even when overclocked. But yeah i will probably buy a fan, which one of those three would you reccomend the most or are they all relatively the same.

Personally I'd go for a Scythe Ninja and run the fan on a low RPM.

Thanks...
Would you say that the processor is probably the best i could get for around that money. Or should i stay with an AMD.

Abit AW9D Intel 975X (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

this mobo I believe is picky with the type of RAM it accepts...

I would also get the tuniq tower....

Why not get the DFI board or the Gigabyte DS3?/

Jakal91, hi...

Iv just posted basically exactly the same thing as you on another thread.

I have been looking into this upgrade for some time now and people have told me the p5b is the way to go !

just thought id share my info !

If your getting the E6300 then get a 965P chipset board e.g DS3, DS4, P5B as this chipset allows for much higher FSB overclocks. Also why dont you get a Seagate 7200.10 HDD as they are not that much slower than Raptors.
