Hi,

I'm planing to replace my Xbox Series X. My aim is to play games in 4k 60FPS.

I have already CPU Ryzen 7 7700, and I will consider buying a GPU in March/April. Propably 9070XT/ 9700XTX or RTX 5070TI.

My budget is £700 (excluding GPU and CPU). Should I do any changes? Thanks in advance.

That's fine, there are cheaper boards if you don't need the features. You could save a bit by buying Crucial's T500 (is £100, at the moment). I'd be tempted to spend the extra on Antec's HCG Pro (derived from Seasonic's Vertex) if the Focus is £170.
Thank you so much for your answer. Could you please recommend cheaper board? I will check the Antec's HCG Pro.

The Riptide is a pretty good spec board, it has PCI-E 5.0 graphics, a very hefty VRM, 8-layer PCB, higher-end audio, but if you're happy with just functional then anything from the B650 Eagle (£140) and up, is more than fine for a 7700.

What case have you got/getting, do you need the extra fans?

May as well save the £30 and get the Crucial T500.

Could save a bit more going for a 850w PSU, should be plenty for your build.
