First off what do you guys think about this build?

Also will the power supply be enough?

And do you have any suggestions on improvement? My budget is around £1200.

Thanks.

Buy it. Nuth said.

The power supply is plenty for those two cards.

But how about buying one GTX480, with a second later on if you feel you need it., but you would have to get an even bigger psu for two 480's

Its been proven in tests that 2x 460's out perform a 480. And 2x 460's are cheaper then a single 480.

looks good but you probably won't need the sound card unless you have THX speakers

I've always had a dedicated sound card.

No their not, a Asus 1gb gtx460 is £190, making £380 for the pair.

The cheapest GTX480 is £365.

Do you need any more power than the fastest single gpu card on the market? And not have any sli issue s if a game doesn't work well with sli.

On here they are, but else where they are cheaper.

Was thinking about the SLI problem, but i currently game at 1920x1080 on a 40" LCD, so a remember a rule of thumb a while ago about the higher the res the more graphics cards you will need. Not sure if that still holds true though.

As Stulid says above, single card set-ups are quite often more reliable that SLI set-ups ( in regards to conflicts with certain games), they also draw less power and create less heat and are (normally) less noisy
