I am looking to build a cheap HTPC to hook up to my 720p HD ready tv. I want to get HDMI so I can use the audio etc as I don't have additional speakers.
I want it to be an all in one unit to take care of all my media, it needs to play blu ray (and possibly HD DVDs as well), freeview so I can record, pause tv etc. I have only put a 500gb HDD in there as I will only be using it to record freeview with. I don't download media etc so it won't be filled with this, only recorded tv.
The spec I have but together is as follows, is there anything I have left out?
I really don't want to spend more than £500 on it.
