Its cheaper and has a UEFI BIOS.

Does that board run 1600 ddr3?

Without overclocking first and if so does it make any differance.

Both boards support 1600 RAM at OC settings, memory speeds seem to make little difference,

the Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX) will just run at 1333mhz until you fiddle in the BIOS.
