As many people I'am upgrading for BF3. My res is 1680 x 1050

take it you have a case and hard drives ?
go for the retail version of the processor, same price atm on "this week only".
cooler wise the Gelid Tranquillo is a decent alternative.
if you not thinking of sli'ing the 570 then a 650 psu would do fine.

The Voodoo is a good cooler. Same as the Venom, with two vipers IIRC. Tad expensive though.
I would have taken the Antec TP850 pro, or the XFX 850 for that budget. The AX750 should work though.
Don't know much about the board, but looks similar to the P67-GD65(?) with the front case header fixed.

Thanks for the replies. I already have a case, SSD and hard drives. My set up at present is a Q6700@ 3.2, 4GB ram, gtx460 o/c and Tagan 650psu. Was tempted with sli on my gpu 460 but read about stuttering in SLI and Crossfire
