please check this spec

What do you guys think about this?
Will my PSU be able to handle this spec?
I'll mainly use it for gaming.
My budget is around £630

Please post your suggestions

Any reason why you are not choosing a motherboard that does not support DDR3?

Prices for DDR2 will probably go up in comparison so if you are thinking of increasing RAM in the future this might make it less viable

Your PSU only has 1 x PCIe cable and you need 2 for your GPU. I'd also prefer to go a little over the minimum recommended voltage too.

I'd pay the extra few quid to get this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-023-OC&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat= and get the 2 x PCIe cables and a bit of voltage headroom (although you arent running many SATA devices)

I'd also look at replacement fans for your cooler either:

or
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-004-NC

The rest looks ok but i don't know much about AMD builds. Samsung F1s have served me well but you might want to consider adding a second for backup?

Ok thank you I still have a spare hdd here which I can use as a backup
Oh and that PSU you reccomended is Out of stock so can someone reccomend me another one please?

I will probably buy it next month since it will be my bday then so I will have the extra money, i was checking out a spec now so I'll now how much it would cost for a decent gaming pc.
So I won't be able to buy this PSU now.

Just wait for the £ to crash against the dollar again now and prices to soar......

But yeah in all likelyhood prices may fall once i5 and new graphics cards are out and summer finishes.
