Hi guys

I'm looking at a new system so I can take advantage of the new i7 grunt to use in general photoshop and video encoding work.

It will be pretty intensive though...I will be opening 50-60 files in photoshop, probably totalling around 2-3GB, hence the RAM requirements.

Also Premiere Pro CS3 will be encoding all sorts of videos including Hi-Def so a mighty system spec is a must.

Because of that I have a weird HDD setup:

750GB as a boot and programs drive (I know it's excessive but it usually fills up)

4x 1TB Drives:
2x 1TB on the controller card on RAID 0
1x 1TB drive as an output drive for the videos that have been edited etc. on the RAID
1x 1TB for outputting images etc.

Can those in the know please check that I haven't done anything stupid like pair the motherboard with incompatible RAM etc., or get a totally incompatible controller card.

Many thanks :) I'm looking at ordering today so any replies would be most appreciated! :D

*Edit* I will also be adding Vista 64 Ultimate
*Double edit* I'll have to add a keyboard and mouse as well - duh.
