Fed up with playing games on a 1080 alba 32inch tv I think I need a monitor now...
My gpu is msi 2070
Armour, like to play on 1440p monitor 27 inch would be perfect...
I don’t want to be tied to Nvidia graphics so cross compatible monitor would be best...
My budget is £260 is this possible?? Was looking at this but it’s sold out now AOC CQ27G2U/BK any 1 with other suggestions plz plz. I’m a noob regarding monitors so all the help is much needed

Right or wrong after scouring these forums, threads I hope this Q27G2U/BK 27" 2560X1440 VA 144HZ 1MS FREESYNC WIDESCREEN will at least work and complement my pc and gpu fingers crossed

At that budget the Q27G2U is probably the best bet. It's in stock at one place at the moment, though I can't say where because they're a competitor. Be careful that you get the right monitor though, there's a CQ27G2U, which is a curved version.

I’ve actually purchased the CQ27G2U curved version and didn’t know it was actually a curved monitor until you mentioned it...
I’m ok with having a curved monitor as long as it has the same specs as the other model you mentioned.
These models numbers are so confusing as one can easily order the wrong item like I just did.
Just watched hardware unboxed and they rave on how good this monitor is so I’m hoping it’s still going to be good for gaming and not noticeably different to the none curve model within reason

Yeah I was going to link the Hardware Unboxed review, plus there's this positive review as well:

Based on those reviews it sounds like you've got the best monitor for your budget.

That’s good news as reviews I have seen has all been positive and monitor highly recommended.
Ty mate

Let us know how you find it
Call of duty war zone I play on 1080 with FPS hitting 160plus but at 1440 it hovers at around 110.. I’m ok with that as I have options on what res I want to game at in this game alone..
Battlefield 1 I’m still playing at 1440 as the graphics in game is outstanding and honestly don’t mind I’m not hitting 144fps and beyond..
Desktop looks so much better and GoPro films are just so much better..
Monitor stand it solid and can be adjusted
I feel that even if I don’t game at 1440 in the future I probably will so buying 1440 now is a better investment in the long run...
